The Brownsville Public Library System, serving the City of Brownsville, Texas, provides diverse library services from two current locations. The Main Library, located at 2600 Central Boulevard, and the Southmost Branch Library located at 4320 Southmost Boulevard.
The library provides the following services for our residents:
Movie Time @ the Library! Each month the library shows special family films at each library location. For the complete film schedule click here.
Story Time. The Children’s Department provides special story time programs crafted for children of different age level. For more information click here.
Teen Book Club. Starting in September, both our library branches will be hosting the Teen Book Club. For more details, click here.

2011 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
IS HERE.
The Summer Reading program is back for another great summer of reading and fun. Come by either of our branch libraries to sign up. Registration begins June 1, 2011, with our activities kicking off on June 6, 2011. The programs runs until August 12, 2011 so don’t miss out. Also, don’t forget to sign up for our Photography contest.
